Hawaiian Falls Giveaways
Hawaiian Falls is sharing the “aloha spirit” this season as the renovated water park opens on May 21. To celebrate, we are giving away three prize packages including day passes, cabanas rentals and an ultimate getaway package. Check out @VisitTheColony throughout May for chances to enter.
Plant & Sip
You don’t have to have a green thumb to enjoy peaceful plants. Down South Kitchen & Bakery invites you to Plant & Sip on May 4. Design a stylish planter with guidance from the instructor or branch off, get creative and add in some personal inspiration.
Cinco De Mayo
Join the free fiestas on May 5 and celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style with friends and family. Listen to the Queen of Tejano’s classic hits at a Selena Tribute Performance on The Stage at Grandscape. Plan to party at Truck Yard where you and your amigos can enjoy adult piñatas, small dog races and more at the beer garden. If you are feeling hungry, be sure to savor the flavors of local Tex-Mex favorites in The Colony.
Social Runs
The season of outdoor fun is just getting started. Call up the crew or meet new faces during open-air activities. Join SCHEELS as the store hosts their monthly Social Run on May 5. Get ready to set a new 5K best or enjoy a leisurely pace along a 1-mile course.
All-Ages Activities
On May 7, festivities take to the skies during Up, Up & Away! Festival of Flight. Observe birding demonstrations, make paper airplanes, fly kites high in to the sky and more at this family-friendly festival. Make waves and keep cool with a visit to DFW Surf in Hidden Cove Park. Take a stand up paddleboarding (SUP) class, learn to surf or experience meditative yoga on the water.
Mother’s Day
Show mom how much you appreciate her with a trip to The Colony. Share a delicious meal and great conversation with the Mother’s Day Brunch at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse. Give her the gift of artisan wares with a personal twist. Design a water-marbled scarf at Dallas Silk Art, soothe the senses with aromatherapy at White Rock Soap Gallery and treat her to dessert at Julie’s Sweets. Add flair to her wardrobe with gifts from fashionable boutiques inside The Homestead in Grandscape.

Mondays
- Start the week off with a free game of pool and drink specials all night long. Visit Shakertins from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM for some late-night entertainment.
- Eat, drink, think and win awesome prizes during trivia night at Heritage Pizza. Order your pizza and beers at the counter, then sit back, relax and get your trivia on.
Tuesdays
- Kids eat free on Family Board Game Nite! Simply bring a board game to play at Heritage Pizza and their dinner is on the house from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
- From immersive VR to exhilarating laser tag, visit Andretti Indoor Karting & Games for buy one, get one free attractions every Tuesday. Excludes karting and bowling.
- Test your knowledge at Challenge Trivia Night at McSwiggan’s Irish Pub from 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM.
- Get ready to rock and sing with a Live Band Karaoke Night at Lava Cantina from 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Wednesdays
- Listen to a variety of tunes and be one of the first to win at Music Bingo at McSwiggan’s Irish Pub, from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM.
- Sample half-price European wines with Wine Tasting Wednesdays at TURBO from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
Fridays
- Start the weekend off right at The Shacks at Austin Ranch. Local musicians play on the pup-friendly patio from 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Saturdays
- Take the family out for lunch and kid-friendly movies at Lava Cantina. Shows begin at 12:00 PM on Saturdays.
- Learn to glide across the waters with an Intro to SUP (stand up paddleboarding). From 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM, let the professionals at DFW Surf guide you through a memorable experience.
