The Ascendant LPGA benefiting Volunteers of America

Get your tickets now to watch the world’s best female golfers compete in the state’s only LPGA Tour event, hosted by Golf Clubs at The Tribute. Take part in special family-friendly programming from September 26 – October 2. The Tribute Trail 5K traverses along the scenic course greens, young aspiring athletes can join the Junior Golf Clinic and the Family Fun Zone will have entertainment throughout the week.

Trucktoberfest

Bring out the lederhosen and get ready for Truck Yard’s second annual Trucktoberfest. Sample a limited run of Oktoberfest beers on tap and indulge in German-themed foods during the celebration. Compete for more than just bragging rights in one of many events including adorable Weiner dog racing, boisterous yodeling, pretzel eating and stein holding. Everyone is welcome to come for the festivities or join in the competition for a chance to win $100 gift cards. Be sure to try the Berlin-style sour beers at Beard Science and the tropical cocktails of Limin Lounge.

Aerosmith & Guns N’ Roses Tribute Performance

Don’t miss a thing and enjoy the sweet emotions at this energy-packed Aerosmith & Guns N’ Roses Tribute Performance. Treat your inner-rock star to favorite tunes, amplified menu bites and cocktail specials at Lava Cantina on August 9, 8:00 PM -11:00 PM.

Bow Wow Luau

Share a moment with your four-legged friend at a refreshing pet paradise! Take a dip in the wave pool and play pet-friendly games at Bow Wow Luau, hosted by Hawaiian Falls Water Park, benefitting The Colony Animal Services Injured Animal Fund.

End Zone Tailgate

Grab your gear, head over to Grandscape and cheer on the Dallas Cowboys at the End Zone Tailgate happening on September 18, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Have a bite to eat, throw your best pass on the lawn and watch America’s greatest team on the big screen. There will giveaways, grill demos and games for all to enjoy. Best of all, the event is free to the public with food and drink available for purchase.

POW / MIA Recognition Sunset Vigil

At the POW/MIA Recognition Sunset Vigil, the community honors and remembers our military heroes who were Prisoners of War (POW) or those that are still Missing in Action (MIA). As the sun sets over Lewisville Lake, take a moment to personally reflect on the sacrifices made by these heroes and the families they left behind. Experience this solemn tribute of prayer, music and community. Admission to the park and ceremony are free. The park entrance opens at 5:30 PM and closes at 7:00 PM. The vigil will take place from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM

St. Jude Walk/Run

Join in the annual St. Jude Walk/Run, a family-friendly 5K walk/run event hosted each September in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and approximately 2,500 St. Jude supporters from across DFW will help increase awareness and raise funds to help cure childhood cancer. OktoBIERfest

PROST! Cheers to the return of OktoBIERfest on September 29. From 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM, the Topo Chico Hard Seltzer Stage & Lawn is the place to enjoy plenty of snacks, games and entertainment. See who comes out on top for the stein holding contest, sample over 10 biers from favorite restaurants and savor beer cheese popcorn and other tantalizing treats.
