Upcoming Events: April 2026 Edition

Spring has sprung and The Colony is full of wonderful events this month. With egg hunts, car shows and tequila tastings, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. After all, The Colony is where you go to play!

Spring Eggstravaganza @ The Athletic Club

One of the most EGGciting events in The Colony, the Spring Eggstravaganza, returns to The Athletic Club on Thursday, April 2! From 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, watch your kids have a ball as they gather eggs filled with an assortment of candy and prizes. Peter Rabbit is hoppin’ into town too! Get your photo taken with him as a keepsake and create an Easter-themed craft. Don’t forget to stop by the entertainment zone to ride the giant slides and challenge yourself at the obstacle course! Play lawn games and interact with the animals in the petting zoo. Tickets are only required for the egg hunt portion of the event. All other activities are free of charge.

Easter Brunch @ Multiple Locations

Celebrate Easter Sunday with a delicious brunch in The Colony. Quartino Ristorante and Seven Doors Kitchen & Cocktails will be serving up special Easter menus and extended brunch hours on April 5. Whether you’re gathering with family or enjoying a festive outing with friends, these local restaurants offer the perfect setting to relax, indulge and make the holiday extra memorable with great food and seasonal flavors.

Coach Cox’s Kids Race by the Lake @ Stewart Creek Park

Bring the kids out for a fun and active morning at Coach Cox’s Kids Race by the Lake on Saturday, April 11, from 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM at Stewart Creek Park, where young runners can race along the scenic shores of Lewisville Lake. This beloved community event features a half-mile course for ages 9 and under and a one-mile run for ages 10 – 12, with every participant receiving a ribbon and goody bag to celebrate their accomplishment. Be sure to register before Friday, April 10.

Woofstock @ Truck Yard

It’s time for peace, love and paws at Woofstock at Truck Yard, a groovy, dog-friendly event packed with fun for you and your four-legged friends on Saturday, April 11. From 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, enjoy live music, browse pup-friendly vendors and take part in dog contests, caricatures and on-site adoptions, all while supporting a great cause. With free treats for your furry companions and plenty of food and drinks for humans, it’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon celebrating community, music and man’s best friend.

Tequila and Mezcal Tasting: A Journey through Mexico @ The Colony Public Library

On Saturday, April 11, embark on a flavorful journey at the Tequila and Mezcal Tasting: A Journey Through Mexico at The Colony Public Library, an adults-only evening hosted by Russ Kempton. From 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM, sample a curated selection of seven tequilas and one mezcal, from blancos to extra añejos, while learning about the craftsmanship behind each pour. Guests will also have the chance to win special prizes, including bottles of tequila, making this a fun and spirited night you won’t want to miss. Secure your tickets and sip your way through Mexico’s finest flavors.

Beer School: Sour, But Not Scary @ Grrrowler’s Tap Room & Beer Garden

The Colony Cinema Nights: The Lorax @ Galaxy Theatres

Gather your friends and catch some of your favorite movies on the big screen from the comfort of the luxury seats at Galaxy Theatres during The Colony Cinema Nights series. On Friday, April 24, from 6:30 PM – 9:45 PM, speak for the trees when The Lorax takes over the silver screen. Admission is free, so get there early to select the best seats and play some trivia before the movie starts. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Walk to Cure Arthritis @ Grandscape
