Beer Styles 101 @ Grrrowler’s Tap Room & Beer Garden

Beer school is officially in session at Grrrowler’s U! Lessons get underway on Thursday, October 2 at 6:30 PM for their very first class, Beer Styles 101. Led by Grrrowler’s own certified cicerone, this fun and informative session will walk you through the basics of lagers, ales, stouts, IPAs and pilsners. Guests will also enjoy guided tastings that highlight the differences between light and dark, hoppy and malty. The class is free to attend, but seating is limited to just 20 spots, so RSVP early and raise a glass to learning something new.
Cinema Nights @ Galaxy Theatres

Movies in the Park is now Cinema Nights! Gather your friends and catch some of your favorite movies on the big screen from the comfort of the luxury seats at Galaxy Theatres. Admission is free, so get there early and pick your seats. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Haunted Shadows Lake Trail @ TOCA Soccer Center

Take a trembling self-guided tour through the Haunted Shadows Lake Trail. Every weekend through Sunday, November 1, find your way through the dark, winding, marked trail along the banks of Lewisville Lake and uncover the various frightening creatures along the way. Experience your own horror movie.

Oktoberfest-ish @ Grrrowler’s Tap Room & Beer Garden

Break out the lederhosen because Oktoberfest-ish returns to Grrrowler’s on Saturday, October 11! Starting at 2:30 PM, this annual celebration puts a playful Texas twist on Oktoberfest with seasonal German-style pours, festive contests like the Stein-Holding Showdown, Pretzel Toss and Best Fest Attire (for humans and dogs), plus tasty bites like exclusive bratwurst empanadas from The Empanada Joint. Guests can snap photos in the beer garden above the dog park while enjoying a dog-friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Free to attend, with pay-as-you-go food and drinks, this lighthearted festival is the perfect way to toast fall with both friends and pups.
Fall Fest @ Grandscape Stage & Lawn

Celebrate the season at Fall Fest on Sunday, October 12, from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM, at the Grandscape Stage & Lawn. With cooler temps and vibrant fall foliage as the backdrop, families can enjoy an afternoon full of live entertainment, seasonal activities and festive fun. From music and performances to delicious bites and a lively outdoor atmosphere, Fall Fest is the perfect way to soak up autumn at Grandscape.
The Colony Shoreline Run @ Stewart Creek Park

Lace up and hit the trail for The Colony Shoreline Run, featuring both 5K and 8-Miler race options along the scenic shores of Lewisville Lake at Stewart Creek Park. Starting at 7:30 AM on Saturday, October 18, runners will enjoy a flat, fast course along the city’s picturesque Shoreline Trail, on a smooth crushed granite path surrounded by lake views and nature. Celebrate your finish with music from DJ Dame and post-run beverages! Register today.
Family Fright Fest @ Stewart Creek Park

Gather your ghosts and ghouls for Halloween fun at Family Fright Fest on Saturday, October 18, from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, at Stewart Creek Park. Enjoy hayrides, games, trick-or-treating, crafts and more! A costume contest will feature categories for all ages, with free activities for everyone. Food trucks will also be available for tasty treats.
Halloween Party @ Truck Yard

Trick or treat yourself at Truck Yard’s annual Halloween Party, on Saturday, October 25, starting at 11:00 AM, complete with free live music, killer food trucks, spooky cocktails and candy for the kiddos. Come dressed in your best costume (and bring your pup, too!) for a chance to win prizes, then stick around for a night of great bites and boo-worthy vibes.
Halloween Spirits Walk @ Grandscape

Raise your cauldron cocktails at the Halloween Spirits Walk happening at Grandscape on Thursday, October 30, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM! Dress in your festive best and sip your way through participating restaurants and shops offering drink samples in an adult trick-or-treat style tasting adventure.
